About Your Physio
Tasha Ainsworth is a dedicated and performance-driven physiotherapist, who completed her Bachelor of Science in Physiotherapy (Hons) at Stellenbosch University (2022) as the top achiever of her class in all four years of study. Thereafter, she completed her community service in the rural Eastern Cape, where she treated a variety of in- and out-patients with neurological, cardiopulmonary, and musculoskeletal conditions. She is currently studying a Masters in Physiotherapy at Stellenbosch University in 2024/2025.
She has a passion for continued education and the implementation of evidence-based practice to ensure optimal outcomes for her patients. To do this, she has further equipped herself by completing her Basic Wheelchair Seating course, Dry Needling Level 1 and 2 courses and attended multiple webinars on neurological and musculoskeletal conditions.
She also has a keen interest in the rehabilitation of patients with neurological conditions including strokes, traumatic brain injuries and spinal cord injuries. As a dedicated modern and ballet dancer, she graduated with distinction from the distinguished Alvin Ailey School of Dance in New York and hence, knows the multifactorial demands it takes to be an athlete. She hopes that this, coupled with her interest in injury prevention strategies and conditioning, will aid her in rehabilitating patients back to their optimal state of performance.

Tasha strives to implement person-centred care of the highest standard with the goal of reintegration, whether that be back on the stage, the sports field, or the workplace. She believes that a holistic, biopsychosocial approach to management of pain and suboptimal functioning is key to regaining her patients’ quality of life.
