About Your Physio

Practice co-owner, Jessica Way, studied a Bachelor of Science in Physiotherapy (Hons) at the University of Cape Town, finishing top of her class and achieving the highest academic standard during the four years of study. She is a passionate, hard-working, and forward-thinking physiotherapist with special interests in musculoskeletal, orthopedic, and cardiopulmonary conditions.

After completing her community service year in Pietermaritzburg, Jess worked for 6 months in a rehabilitation center treating inpatients with orthopedic and neurological conditions, as well as those with post-covid complications.

Dedicated to continuing professional development, Jess has completed her Dry Needling level 1, Kinesiology taping course and attended multiple webinars covering topics on musculoskeletal conditions, chronic pain and neurology.

Jess is a keen sportswoman and as a result has enjoyed working as the physiotherapist for the Rhodes University men’s and ladies USSA hockey teams.

Jess strives to always achieve maximal client satisfaction. She believes that excellent clinical reasoning, combined with a holistic approach, is the key to helping patients recover from the point of diagnosis to return to their desired optimal level of functioning. Passion is what motivates Jess to go great lengths to help patients overcome challenging obstacles, alleviate pain and despair, restore their quality of life, and subsequently change their lives for the better.

Jess is very active and adventurous- always keen for a beach day or looking for a new mountain to hike. She spends most of her weekends enjoying the outdoors and relaxing with family and friends.
